The festivities have begun and while people are planning their get together and parties, many are still on the streets who are not even sure if they will be lucky enough to find themselves a meal for the day. 

Homeless children, children from rural areas and other deprived sections of the society suffer throughout the year from malnutrition, poverty, lack of education and awareness, lack of sanitation, hygiene and know nothing of festivals and celebrations. 

This festive season is all about bringing light in the darkness and helping out to such families and children who need it the most. 

With your help, Aastha Nishtha Foundation aims to reach out to 200 homeless children and give them a celebration that they truly deserve. 

We have planned a three-day celebration which will include:

A. A two-day creative workshop with homeless children wherein they will be provided with materials and our team will facilitate them in making handmade wall hangings, clay figures, diya’s and other decorative materials that can be used to decorate the rainbasera where they reside. 

This workshop is to build a sense of community in these children and of course, to have a whole lot of fun.

B. Third day will be purely celebration based. Activities like games and dancing will be arranged where children can have a time of their lives and forget about the worries that they bear at such young age. The gift packs will be distributed to each child at the end of the event.

You can make all this happen by donating to this fundraiser either for a single child or a group of children. Each gift pack will be given in the name of those who have donated.

 Every donation counts and makes a big difference in the lives of these children.
