SEVERE BRAIN DAMAGE HAS PUT REYANSH’S LIFE IN THREAT, LET’S DO OUR BEST TO SAVE HIM

Reyansh’s 80% of the brain has been damaged causing impacts on mobility, breathing issues, feeding and swallowing problems, missing reflexes and seizures.
“I haven’t seen my baby smile since I gave birth to him” says Roshni, Reyansh’s mother.

On 3rd August, 2022, Roshni gave birth to her son, Reyansh, who didn’t cry his first cry at the time of his birth and the carelessness of the doctor has left him suffering till date.
A series of tests were conducted right from when Reyansh was only 1 day old. Blood infection was ruled out and he was admitted to the hospital for 17 days. The amount to be paid was huge ( Rs.1,58,700, One lakh fifty eight thousand and seven hundred) for them to afford but they managed to pay by taking loans from their relatives.
Slowly and gradually, Roshni started to notice that Reyansh was not active as other children of his age, he didn’t smile or react at her, had difficulty in swallowing and kept falling abnormally towards the front when he was held upright.
After several doctor visits, the main problem was ruled out and Reyansh was diagnosed with HIE (Hypoxic- Ischemic Encephalopathy) which is a new born brain damage caused by oxygen deprivation and limited blood flow. It has caused severe and permanent disabilities such as cerebral palsy, epilepsy and cognitive impairment.
His parents have come from MP to Delhi to get him treated at AIIMS hospital where his treatment is ongoing. They cannot afford the long-term treatment and medication charges that are very high as the severity of his condition. The doctor says that he might also need surgery in the near future. Vinay, who has no permanent employment and Roshni, who is a homemaker, cannot afford the travelling cost that they have to bear every few days to come to Delhi for treatment.
We all know how it feels to see your own child suffer.
We would be grateful if you come forward to help and donate to save Reyansh and give them a hope for a better future and healthy life.
